“Spiritual Dysfunction” by Matija Peček

Matija Peček also known as MVPBlack is s a photographer and visual artist from Croatia. His art reflects a play with pain and pleasure, his dark yet aesthetically beautiful images are a mix of natural elements such as flowers and plants with rope. He is also playing with a genderfluidity concept in self ties and in his photographs of men.

“Spiritual Dysfunction” series is inspired by nature and emotions, smells, textures and restrains.

Matija says: all of my models/subjects had the same reaction – natural therapy, almost a soul therapy. In my images I capture the smell of plants, the texture of leaves or stems and thorns, the restraints and the beauty of the moment.
