Symbiote by ANKKH and VVXXII

SYMBIOTE is a collaboration between ANKKH and the creations of VVXXII, photographed by Andriana Tuesday. ANKKH is an Italian artistic duo, made up of Kristofer and Ektor, who are performers and DJs. They collaborated also with a graffiti artist, painter and set designer VVXXII. This is what they had to say to artPLAY about this project:

“Symbiote is an imaginary cell, an amorphous parasite that circulates on the planet. A substance that takes shape among living beings by shaping their thoughts and changing their physical dimension. On earth, symbiotic sub-humans emerge from a toxic society. The symbiont is a disease that integrates with the natural machine, a bacterium that modifies the DNA and allows evolution through the natural selection of the species. A replicating biological germ becomes a means of genetic transfer and renewal, purifying the darkness.
Symbiotic is the combination between: hybrid creations of VVXXII with the personality of Ankkh, portrayed by the artistic eye of Andriana Tuesday. The aquatic and desert environment becomes the perfect place for an initiatory ritual of inner liberation.”
