artPLAY – We have created a platform for high quality art and fashion photography with a creative twist, and are always looking for professional creatives to feature: fashion photographers, visual artists, painters, writers, stylists, and Shibari artists.  We also regularly post artist portfolios and interviews, if you have something interesting to say we want to hear it.

Work submitted should fit the style of our magazine and be professional, creative and original.

Submission guidelines for FASHION EDITORIALS: 

  • All submitted FASHION EDITORIALS should be UNPUBLISHED AND EXCLUSIVE TO artPLAY magazine. Submitted stories should not be published on social media or any websites before artPLAY publishes them
  • PULL LETTER is given on request, if the suggested moodboard/idea matches our style. The pull letter doesn’t guarantee that the work will be published in artPLAY
  • Fashion editorials should have a minimum of 4 different looks and the styling should be up to date. Please avoid high street brands such as Zara and H&M, we prefer small designers and non mainstream brands or vintage fashion

 

Submission guidelines for SHIBARI AND ART SUBMISSIONS: 

  • Shibari and art photography submissions should fit the aesthetics and the style of the magazine. Pornographic, vulgar and amateur images are not our world: we aim to showcase the elevated, creative side of shibari art and artistic nude photography
  • PHOTOGRAPHY MUST BE PROFESSIONAL technically, aesthetically and visually it should be of a high standard
  • PLEASE SEND A MINIMUM OF 6-10 IMAGES SO THAT WE CAN DECIDE IF THE STORY IS SUITABLE FOR US there should be enough variety between the photos/looks/styles to create a cover + story content graphics

 

  • VIDEOS of fashion, shibari, backstage videos and art videos are welcome

 

  • You must be the copyright owner of the material submitted, or have permission from all the team involved
  • All people involved must be of legal age
  • For all submissions please send LOW RESOLUTION images or a pdf file or a dropbox link
  • For all submissions please send us a MINIMUM OF 6 PHOTOS
  • for any exclusive stories artPLAY has the right to crop and edit photos if needed when doing graphics, a preview is always send to the team for a review before we publish anything
