artPLAY – is an art and fashion print publication and digital platform. The print is a biannual art book with fashion editorials, interviews, art photography and Shibari art. We are based in Paris, where the magazine gets its classic undertones, but we also work in Berlin, inspired by its innovation and open minded approach, and in London, with all its quirkiness and original style.
artPLAY – is a team of creative enthusiasts who love innovative photography and artistic fashion editorials. We are the first magazine to merge the creative mediums of fashion, genderfluid art, and Shibari in a contemporary and creative way. Subverting stereotypes, we present high-level editorials and showcase artistic work from professional photographers and artists.
artPLAY – targets curious, sexpositive, gender bending, age irrelevant individuals who are on a journey of discovery.
Photography, Fashion and Fashion designers
artPLAY showcases edgy fashion and art photographers in selective, creative editorials. We aim to present talent from outside the classic frame, while keeping the quality and the level of the classics.
We carefully select creative, talented photographers who share with us their ideas and views through artPLAY interviews and portfolios of their work.
The platform also showcases a range of designers, with a focus on innovative accessory and clothes designers, and elements of futuristic and fetish fashion.
Contemporary Shibari Art
We have created a platform for elevated, contemporary Shibari art. We showcase Shibari within a non-sexual, artistic frame.
Our mission is to create a space for Shibari fans and professionals and highlight Shibari in the best possible way. artPLAY is an art and photography platform where the international Shibari community can share their extraordinary journey.

artPLAY was founded by Paris based fashion and art photographer Katja Kat www.katjakat.com. artPLAYs Fashion Director is London based stylist and creative director Kay Altamira www.kayaltamira.com. We are a team of creative and open minded individuals based in Paris, Berlin and London who are determined to make a difference in the world of art and fashion magazines.
